Background :
Lord Shiva believed to have manifested in the form of five sacred mountain Kailash Mansarovar, Adi Kailash, Kinner Kailash, Srikhand Mahadev and Manimahesh
Out of these Manimahesh is situated in Chamba distt of Himachal pradesh near the holy town of Bharmour.
There's an annual pilgrimage that takes place in the month of august when thousands of devotees trek a distance of 14 km to pay homage to the supreme Lord .
The Plan :
We planned this trip once before also in march 2012 when we could not even reach Bharmour due to heavy snowfall and had to content with visiting Khajjiar and Dalhousie instead. But this time we planned to go in the month of April 2013. With clouds of uncertainty hovering around our plan we reached Bharmour one fine Wednesday ( April 10th 2013) afternoon .
